ABOUT
THE GULF COAST CLASSIC
The Gulf Coast Classic is a prelims-and-finals marching festival created to provide high school bands with a meaningful performance experience in a positive, educational environment. Ensembles perform for an experienced panel of adjudicators using UIL-style judging sheets, giving directors and students feedback that is relevant to their continued growth throughout the marching season. More than a competition, the Gulf Coast Classic is designed to celebrate achievement while advancing excellence. Following the contest, directors receive valuable feedback from experienced adjudicators, providing each program with another opportunity to learn, refine, and grow.
